Competitor Briefing Notes.

Welcome to the first Autocross on the newly cut track at Rallydrive Complex in Parwan.

As part of the Motorsport Australia Return to Race policy there will be no Competitor Briefing, there will just be this digital notice board.

The clerk of Course for the Event is Jarryd Sweeney, and the Club Steward will be Brett Roffey.

Running of the day:

We would like to try and run in as numerical order as possible, this will ensure the smooth running of the day. Numbers will need to be placed on the right had side of the vehicle.

The sighting lap will commence at 9.30am, this will be done at a walking pace and irresponsible driving will not be tolerated.

When you pull up to the starting line you will wait until the lights turn green, once green you can then start your lap. Timing will start approx. 10 metres after the start line.

There will be a flag marshal located at the Big Red Bus in the centre of the track.

If there is any caution on the track you will see the marshal holding a yellow “SLOW” sign. This signals for you to continue on at. slower walking pace. This run will then not be timed and you will be asked to line up again to re do your run.

Should something major have occurred you will see a red “STOP” sign held up. This signals for you to stop where you are located and await an official vehicle to advise of the next best action to take. This run will then not be timed and you will be asked to line up again to re do your run.

We will break for lunch at approx. 12pm for a minimum of 1 hour. This allows for all of our volunteer officials to have a break and get some food.
